Kelly’s daughter is now stepping up to collect! The singers’ daughter says she had to quit college because her father stopped paying tuition. On the other hand, he claims he thought she wasn’t enrolled. Therefore there were no bills to be paid.
Sources close to the situation say that Joann Lee, who goes by Buku Abi, was attending a California art school until last fall. When she tried signing up for classes for the next semester, she was denied due to unpaid balances.
Kelly is responsible for Joann’s tuition and education expenses until she turns 23. This comes from a child support agreement with ex-wife Drea. They are alleging the money stopped coming without warning last year. Which led to her dropping out.
It has also been said that Kelly also stopped paying for the apartment Joann was living in during her time at school. So she ended up being evicted. She even had to pay for her own books. Apparently he was not giving her funds of any sort.
