Funnyman Marlon Wayans comes from an immensely talented family of comedians/actors, and one thing that everyone knows about them is that they ride hard for each other. Now as their family has expanded into children, and even grandchildren, the Wayanses still show their support for one another in different ways. Recently one of those ways was expressed when Marlon stuck up for his daughter during Pride month. After receiving backlash from a few folks who questioned his support Marlon let everyone know where they can go immediately.

June is National Pride Month and Marlon’s daughter Amai Zackary Wayans is a proud member of the LGBTQ community. In an effort to show his undying support Marlon uploaded a photo to his Instagram page telling her how much he loves her for who she is.

Although many were grateful for his support there were others who left nasty comments aimed at both Marlon and Amai. However, taking the high road, Marlon addressed them and quickly turned something negative into a teachable moment.
