Will Smith (51)has been making headlines ever since the 1980’s, when he was rapping the lyrics, “It’s new/ It’s out of the ordinary/ It’s rather extraordinary/ So yo bust this commentary” in “Brand New Funk.” However, as of late, we’ve seen him and wife, Jada Pinkett (48), go through one of the the toughest times they’ve had to face publicly, after confirming Jada was having a years-long “entanglement” with 27 year old singer, August Alsina. The thing we didn’t get to witness throughout the years, was Will’s family- other than his parents and famous wife and kids.

Turns out, there’s a whole ‘nother side of Will that you’re about to bear witness to- the side of a brother to his four siblings. Will’s parents, Carolyn and the late Willard Smith Sr., have 4 children together; and Will Sr. also has a daughter from another relationship. Will’s lesser known siblings chose lives outside of the glitz and glam of Hollywood, which explains why we rarely see them, but they seem very close to their brother.

For the most part, the four non-famous Smith siblings have been successful at keeping a low profile. In fact, Will’s eldest sibling, sister Pam Smith, apparently remains so low-key that there are no public photos of her….anywhere (we searched high n’ low and came up empty handed). Maybe one day she’ll appear though. Moving onto the twins…

That brings us to Will’s younger siblings, who happen to have been born together in 1971 as fraternal twins. They are his sister, Ellen Smith, and his brother, Harry Smith. Word on the Old School curb is that Harry has been working behind the scenes with Will for many years now, wth their film production company, Overbrook Entertainment. But his sister, Ellen, does not.

Although their big brother is one of the largest celebs in the game, apparently family relationships- like the ones he has with Ellen and Harry- help to keep the Men in Black Philly superstar grounded. After “Entanglement” Confession, Did Will’s Sister Shade Jada?

Shortly after Jada and Will confirmed August Alsina’s relationship claims, Ellen Smith posted an interesting statement on Instagram. Many fans believe it was in support of Will, but subliminal shade toward Jada. It read:

“Those you follow and admire so much promoting truth & “keeping it real” don’t seem so admirable right now huh?”

Ellen captioned her post:

“Good afternoon all. I keep having this conversation lately. My only response is research your hero’s [sic], roll models [sic] and your advisors. Everyone has a past. Some whose are relevant to the present. Pay attention please on your journey and in life. Use your intuition and discernment. If their energy feels off it probably is. People will be wolves in sheep’s clothing pretending to help you but really manipulating a situation or person to suit their own malicious needs. #staywoke.”

But Wait…There’s One More…. Meet Will’s Baby Sis’…

In 2018, Will’s baby sister, Ashley Marie Smith, appeared publicly on an episode of Red Table Talk, alongside her sister-in-law, Jada Pinkett-Smith; Jada’s mom, Adrienne; and…(drumroll please) Jada’s then “entanglement” love, August Alsina. Before then, most of Will’s fans never knew of Ashley, because just like her other siblings, she lived life low key.

On the Red Table Talk episode, which was focused on each of their past “addictions,” Ashley confessed that she was once highly addicted to weed and struggled for years having to live in Will’s shadow. She loves her big bro to the fullest, but says in her personal life she was oftentimes compared to him and his success, by folks who would find out he was her brother.

As far as Will’s big sister, Pam Smith’s, photo, well I guess for now, we’ll just have to imagine her in our minds and leave it at that…for now. The suspense continues…
