Remember “Lil Hercules” a.k.a. “Eddie Klump Jr.” from the “Nutty Professor” and “Nutty Professor II: The Klumps”? He was the only other person in those infamous dinner table scenes with Eddie Murphy’s characters. His mostly non-speaking role was crazy funny and he left a lasting impact on everybody watching. Basically, “Lil Hercules” was paid to sit at the dinner table with the “Klump” fam’; eat soul food; let off a round of farts just like his “daddy” “Ernie Klump Sr.”; laugh; and most importantly, show off his muscles at dinnertime so “Mama Klump” could proudly clap and cheer her baby on with “Hercules, Hercules, Hercules!”
Well that was then and this is now…
“LIL HERCULES” NOW GOES BY THE NAME, “BIG HERCULEEZ”
Actor, Jamal Mixon, was 11 years old when “Nutty Professor” released in 1996 and he had us rollin’ as we watched do his thing at that dinner table with “Mama Klump,” “Granny Klump,” “Papa Klump,” “Ernie Klump Sr.,” and “Buddy Love” (all played by Eddie Murphy). Today at 37, he goes by the name Jamal “Big Herculeez” Mixon. Here is the grown up “Herculeez”…
“Mama Klump’s” baby is all grown up now! Jamal Mixon is a grown man, but still recognizable as the cat who played “Lil Hercules” in “Nutty Professor.” Quite frankly, he probably can’t walk down the street without somebody yelling, “Hercules, Hercules!” to him. Jamal takes it all in stride and even refers to himself on social media as Jamal “Big Herculeez” Mixon. He’s still an actor to this day.
By the way, who remembers Jamal’s brother, who was also a young actor? See what his brother looks as like as an adult…
THE MIXON BROTHERS – JAMAL & JEROD MIXON
Jamal’s big brother/actor, Jerod Mixon, is now 39 years old.You may remember him from the 2000 film, “Me, Myself, & Irene” where he played one of the adopted sons of Jim Carey’s role, or in the 2003 movie, “Old School” and several other roles.
IS JAMAL MIXON STILL ACTING?
It’s unclear if the Mixon brothers are still acting at this time. However, they played the lead roles in the 2013 movie, “White T.”
And as far as we know, Jamal’s most recent role was in 2015, during the 12th season of the TV sitcom, “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia,” which airs on FXX (a sister company of the FX network). One of the show’s stars is Danny Devito, whom most of us know as “Louie” from the ’80s sitcom, “Taxi.” It’s good to see the Mixon brothers are still doing their thing today.
