Aren’t You Glad Stacey Dash Was Rejected For A Role In This Hood Classic ’90s Film?

The ever so controversially entertaining Stacey Dash, almost landed a vital role in a ’90s movie that would have, in my opinion, threw the whole movie off. This is one you gotta see to believe because never in a million years would you probably be able to envision her playing the part.

Not to come down too hard on Ms. Dash, but she must have been really ‘clueless’ to think that she would have been a great fit for this 90’s classic. See what was revealed below…

STACEY DASH AUDITIONED FOR “BOYZ N’ THE HOOD”?!!

Surprised? Yeah, we were too. Stacey Dash almost played “Tre’s” girlfriend, “Brandy.” You’re probably thinking, ‘Aww, HELL no!’ But no need to get heated over it, because thankfully, she didn’t get the job.

Graphic designer, Brent Rollins (who also designed the “Boyz N’ The Hood” logo) revealed that he was present when Stacy showed up to audition for the role and here’s what he had to say…

“Stacey Dash actually tried out for the film’s role of the studious ghetto-flower, Brandy, which was later rewarded to Nia Long. I was there when she came to read for the part, and I still have the drool soaked tee-shirt to prove it.”

Luckily for Stacey, soon after her “Boyz N The Hood” audition, she landed a very popular role in a film that was far more suitable for her, “Clueless.”
