There’s a new wax figure at a popular museum, and let’s just say it’s giving “Harpo who dis?” vibes. And if you’re part of Beyoncé’s die-hard ‘Bey-hive’ fan-tribe, then you’re probably really confused and highly heated about said wax figure. So much so, that you were likely online either roastin’ the hell out of it, or slamming the museum altogether for creating such a disastrous image of the “Texas Hold ‘Em” songstress. However, even those of us who aren’t necessarily part of the “Bey-hive” coalition are still ‘ringing the alarm’ about this odd wax rendition of Bey’…it’s that bad.
On July 4, 2024, Beyoncé began trending on social media after photos of the new wax figure went viral…and apparently, the Grévin Museum in Paris is to blame for the confusion. The Bey’ figure has turned out to look more like a woman of a different race with different facial features altogether, and it’s being called out online as a white-washed image of Beyoncé. As you can see, this wax figure looks nothing like Bey’, and some would even argue that it looks more like the museum attempted to envision and ultimately create an image of what they think “Becky” from Beyoncé’s hit song, “Sorry,” actually looks like instead. Anywho, as y’all can imagine, fans are sounding off about this online. Peep some of the comments below…

And the complaints go on and on from there…like, thousands of them all up n’ down these social media streets.
After getting a ton of backlash, not sure what –if anything– the Paris museum plans to do about their botched Beyonce’ wax figure…but only time will tell.
