On Thursday December 24, Janet Jackson revealed that she has to have a surgery that is obviously pretty major and urgent because she announced that she is abruptly ending her “Unbreakable” tour, although she had many more tour dates scheduled. Fans were shocked by her news that she posted to her Facebook page, but she promised them that the tour will be rescheduled in mid 2016 after she’s recovered.

“I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon,” said Janet. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring.”

“Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time,” Jackson said. “I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon’ b alright.”
