If you don’t know his face, you definintely know his music. Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins has produced hits like “Say My Name” and “You Rock My World”, but now he’s cast his daughter into the spotlight.
The Republican National Convention is this week in Cleveland. Tonight, Donald Trump is expected to officially accept the nomination as the Republican nominee for president. To open the night, the RNC had 6-year-old singer and America’s Got Talent contestant Heavenly Joy on stage to perform “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “America the Beautiful.”
Heavenly Joy is the daughter of super-producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who is known for his work on hits like “You Rock My World” by Michael Jackson, “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child, and “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston. Jerkins has also worked with artists like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Mary J. Blige.
So I guess it’s safe to say that Rodney Jerkins and his Latin wife are supporters of the Republican Party. (Interesting)
