As we recently reported, things ain’t all good between Mariah Carey and her billionaire fiancee’, James Packer. After word spread that dude allegedly pulled the plug on their wedding, even more information is being reported about their split and this time it has to do with Mariah supposedly demanding that James pay her for her troubles.

According to TMZ, Mariah is NOT playing with James about her money and since he walked away from their relationship, she’s saying that he needs to pay up…$50 MILLION to be exact:

Via TMZ: Mariah Carey has privately made a demand to James Packer … he needs to pay her $50 mil … or else. Sources connected to the now warring ex-couple tell TMZ … Mariah believes James has cost her tens of millions of dollars, and here’s why:

— She claims he got her to move from New York to L.A., uprooting her entire life, so he could be near his kids.
— She claims the incident on the yacht in Greece — where she says he did something awful to her assistant — has traumatized Mariah so much she had to cancel the South American leg of her tour.
— He made various financial promises to her.
No comment from Packer.

IT’S A GAME OF HE-SAID-SHE-SAID…

Various media outlets have received very different sides of the story from Mariah’s camp and James’ camp:
Mariah Carey’s rep told Entertainment Tonight that she and James called it quits during an altercation on their Greece vacation last month (September).

But People Magazine reported this:

A source close to the singer told PEOPLE Carey pulled the plug after Packer failed to be “present for Mariah or her family…James has not been in a mentally healthy place. His behavior was not a desirable situation for Mariah so she unfortunately had to leave him.”

And James’ team said Mariah is lying through her teeth about James:

According to a source close to the billionaire businessman, however, it’s “typical Mariah to just twist things that don’t sound good to her. They split because she has issues. James is definitely an oddball, but a brilliant great guy. To put her issues on James is ridiculous”… [and] insists they “definitely won’t be getting back together now.”

Well, it looks like Nick Cannon might have a chance at getting his woman back after all. Hell, he didn’t want to divorce her in the first place and they even recently partied together for their annual Halloween party. Mariah might as well give Nick another chance, the man seems to have genuine love for her and the two beautiful kids they share…
Those billion dollars probably looked real nice to Mariah in the beginning, but just like the OLD SCHOOL saying goes- ‘The grass ain’t always greener on the RICHER side.’ Okay, the saying doesn’t quite go like that, but I figured why beat around the bush when money seems to be what this whole breakup situation is about anyway? Just saying.
