Janet Jackson’s State of the World tour is just a few short months away and it looks like she’ll definitely be ready to roll when the time comes. According to Entertainment Tonight, Janet has managed to drop an impressive 50 pounds in just a short period of time to prepare for the tour. Although such an amazing feat would be relatively difficult to achieve so fast at Janet’s age, she makes it look easy. The new mother gained the weight during her pregnancy with her first child, Eissa El Mana. Now, an inside source is sharing details about Janet’s rigorous game plan.
Getting the Job Done:
During an interview with ET, the insider close to Janet has revealed that Janet has spent the last five months training vigorously. But in addition to hitting the gym, Janet has also been “dieting and eating clean.” In just five months, Janet has shed 50 pounds and she’s still going strong. While there’s no information pertaining to Janet’s weight loss goal, it’s obvious she’s getting the job done. There have been many times where Janet’s intense training has paid off. Back in 2015, Janet made headlines when she dropped 60 pounds in record time. That year, she turned heads at the BET Awards when she received the Ultimate Icon Award…
Janet is a beautiful woman regardless, so it makes no difference to us, here at ILOSM, if we see the thick or slimmer Janet resurface come tour time…just as long as she resurfaces.
The last time she was spotted out, was when she and her brother, Randy, popped up at Bruno Mars‘ concert a few weeks ago. Since she was rollin’ incognito style, with an oversized sweat suit and visor over her eyes, it was hard to see her weight loss…
But who knows? At the rate ‘Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty’ is apparently shedding her baby weight, we just may see her hit the stage like this pretty soon…
Family First:
The latest details about Janet’s comeback follow a string of reports about Janet’s pregnancy. Previous reports revealed Janet faced difficulties during her pregnancy which is why she initially opted to postpone the tour. “Her pregnancy and having a healthy baby were her top priority, so when she canceled her last tour, she knew that she would be making it up to all of her fans once she got on the road again,” the source said.
But now, Janet is almost ready to hit the stage. The State of the World tour kicks off on September 7, 2017, at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA. The famed singer has more than 50 tour dates on her calendar and she’ll be traveling to most of the biggest metropolitan cities in the United States before wrapping up at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, GA.
