Tiffany Haddish is one of the co-stars from the movie, Girl’s Trip, which also features actresses Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Regina Hall. To promote the movie, Haddish stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!  and while there she shared a hilarious story about taking Will Smith and her co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith on a swamp tour.

It All Started With A Groupon:

While promoting the movie, Jimmy Kimmel asked Tiffany Haddish if the set resembled a bachelorette environment, or if Will Smith was allowed on the set. Excited to share, Haddish revealed that Will not only came to the set, but she went out to dinner with Jada and Will. Wearing a very nice dress, Jada and Will treated Haddish to a lovely, expensive dinner.

“I thought ‘Ooh this is it. I’m about to make it,” she joked about the invite.

During dinner, Jada asked Tiffany what were her plans for the following day because cast was off. Haddish revealed that she was planning to go on a swamp tour in New Orleans, La., which she’d already purchased tickets for on Groupon. Since she knew no one in the N.O., she was planning to go alone. To her surprise, the Smith’s insisted on joining, and Haddish didn’t believe them. So she smoked weed before heading out on the tour because she said she wanted the experience to be similar to a Disney movie, LOL.

Tiffany shared with Jimmy, that she was shocked when she realized the Smiths really intended on joining her, so she tried to sober up really fast. Haddish jokingly drove to their hotel to ride with them in their SUV’s, along with their security. However, to her surprise, Will and Jada decided to ride with her. This put the pressure on Tiffany to be an excellent driver,  she jokingly shared that she didn’t want to be the person to kill the “Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.”

“All I could think was ‘Tiffany, you need to be as careful as possible,” she explained of her stress while driving the Smiths to the swamp. “You don’t wanna be the b*tch on TMZ who killed the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

Upon arriving to the Swamp tour, Haddish shared that Jada was surprised that so many people were at the Swamp boat tour as she was confused about the meaning of Groupon. Pinkett believed that Groupon meant a private tour with a group on a boat. That’s what happens when you have long money, like the Smith’s and haven’t needed to use a coupon in decades, LOL.

Many of the people on the tour asked for photos and cheered when the couple got on the boat. She noted that Will Smith was so taken by the experience, that he turned to Haddish and said, “I gotta get me one of these.” Haddish responded, thinking that he wanted to get one of the ferry boats before he clarified that he wanted a whole doggone swamp!

“I was like, ‘You’re gonna buy a whole ecosystem?” Haddish said.

In case you thought it was just a joke, it appears that it’s all true. Jada told the same story on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Candidly, she revealed that she had no idea what Groupon was. Upon finding out that it was not a private tour, she panicked, revealing that she’s very protective of Will. She didn’t want the situation to get crazy. However, Jada said that she had the best time and she even gave a special shoutout to Groupon.
