Jada Pinkett-Smith has just spoken out about the recent claims made by actress, Leah Remini, regarding Jada, Will Smith and their friend/actor Tom Cruise. Leah is a former member of the Church of Scientology and has oftentimes spoken out against the religion after deciding that it was not the right choice for her. She’s even called for an FBI investigation into the religion, with her claims that they allow child abuse to take place among it’s members. Many Scientologists have adamantly denied Remini’s claims.
Leah Remini’s Claims About The Smith’s
As Remini is currently promoting her new tell-all book, Troublemaker, in which she slams the Church of Scientology and exposes A-List celebrities affiliated with it. Her latest reveal was to expose Jada Pinkett-Smith as a member and Jada’s husband, Will Smith, as a loosely affiliated celebrity of the religion.
In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Remini made her claims about the Smith’s:
Via The Daily Beast- Remini recalls a strange night at Cruise’s lavish estate where she (then a Scientologist), along with the Smiths, were asked by Cruise to participate in a game of hide-and-seek. “At first I thought he was joking,” she wrote. “But, no, he literally wanted to play hide-and-seek with a bunch of grown-ups in what was probably close to a 7,000-square-foot house on almost three full acres of secluded land.” After realizing she was in Jimmy Choo heels, Remini wrote that she declined the offer—which is apparently rare when dealing with a high-ranking Scientologist like Cruise—only to have Cruise approach her, quip, “Well, good. So you’re ‘It,’ then,” and tag her before bolting….according to Remini, there were three star Scientologists present that evening: herself, Cruise, and Pinkett Smith.
“I know Jada’s in. I know Jada’s in. She’s been in Scientology a long time,” she explained. “I never saw Will [Smith] there, but I saw Jada at the Celebrity Centre. They opened up a Scientology school, and have since closed it. But Jada, I had seen her at the Scientology Celebrity Centre all the time.”
The Scientology school Leah is referring to, was New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, California, which is now closed. The Smith’s reportedly donated $1 million to the school some years ago.
Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Response
It was only a matter of time before Jada responded to Leah’s claims though and today (9-17-17) was that time. Jada took to Twitter to release a flurry of truth to shoot down Remini’s claims.

I guess Jada is like, ‘If you’re gonna speak about me and mine, you better put some “respeck” on my name.’
