After O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murder charges in October of 1995 — for the murder trial of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman — he and the two children he shares with Nicole stayed at the house of a very famous singer for a while. He did so because things were too heated with the paparazzi stake-outs surrounding O.J.’s Cali home at that time.
Just think of a singer that you would probably least expect O.J. to be cool with and you probably will get this one right. One more clue is that this singer is probably the most famous celeb’ known to mankind.
Who’s House Did O.J. Stay At?
Simpson stayed at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch immediately following his murder acquittal! Ain’t that something? Who would have thought those two were friends, but it turns out they go way back and they also had the same attorney, the late Johnnie Cochran.
O.J. was acquitted on October 3, 1995. He threw his and Nicole’s children, Sydney (who was 10 at the time) and Justin (who was 7 at the time) a private lavish theme park party at the Neverland estate while he was staying there.
Michael and his then wife, Lisa Marie Presley, were not home at the time of O.J.’s stay.

When the kids went back over to their grandparents, Louis and Juditha Brown’s house, “they were so excited. It was all they could talk about,” a family source told The News.
In a twitter video O.J. further explained why he sought refuge at MJ’s home back then:
Via The Wrap: “My house was under siege by the media and I had somehow got out, and I was staying at (former NBC executive) Don Ohlmeyer’s house when I was getting my kids on the weekends… Don had a great house, but… it was restrictive,” Simpson said in the video.
“Michael found out, he called me, he said, ‘OJ! You’ve gotta take the kids up to Neverland Ranch, they’d love it!’ And I did. And it was wondrous. The kids would come up, they would bring some of their friends, it was so great that I started bringing my adult friends up there. Michael was never there, but he always had gifts for the kids,” Simpson said.
At the time of the trial, The Browns were granted temporary custody after their daughter, Nicole and Ronald Goldman were killed in 1994.
