ILOSM family, we’ve all heard the Old School saying, ‘Two wrongs don’t make a right.’ We’ve also heard of the saying, ‘An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.’ Both quotes can be applied to the topic of this article and we wanna know which side you think the countless Black celebrities, who have reached out to a young kid in his time of need, should fall on.
The Heartbreaking Video Of Bullied Kid
Okay, if y’all haven’t heard by now, a heart-wrenching video of a Caucasian kid recently went viral after his mother shared it online, in efforts to show what’s being done to her son at school. The kid’s name is Keaton Jones and he touched the hearts of many across social media, when he cried uncontrollably as his mom, Kimberly Jones, was picking him up from school. Keaton’s tears were the result of the extreme bullying he’d faced at school. During the video, Keaton looked toward his mother and asked of the bullies, “Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to ’em? It’s not okay.” He also described how he’d been taunted and that they’d poured milk on him that day.

Soon as the video was posted, many people began to offer the lil’ man tons of support and encouragement. In particular, there were many African American celebs who felt his pain and the plight of being unfairly judged because of things one could not/nor should not change about themselves.
Everyone from Snoop Dogg, to Holly Robinson-Peete, to Cardi B., to Lebron James, to Chris Brown, ESPN reporter Jemele Hill, Rihanna, and many more spoke up in Keaton’s defense, as well as against bullying. Here were some of their replies…
Hey Keaton, unfortunately you aren't alone. A lot of kids are bullied, but they will be so uplifted by your courage. You're a hero, young man. You are treasured and valued. Let me know if you'd ever like to visit ESPN. You can be my special guest. https://t.co/N8mkUTYnEy

Bullied Kid’s Mom Gets Exposed As Racist
Although countless Black celebs have taken to social media to help Keaton Jones, his mother may have just caused that outpouring of support to come to a screeching halt. After news began to spread that little Keaton was getting so much love, of course it was only natural for people to what to know more about the kid that had touched their hearts.
In doing further research on him, it quickly became clear to many, that his mother, Kimberly, is a firm advocate for the Confederate Flag. As we all know, that’s the flag that holds a boatload of racist history. According to reports, Kimberly’s also been known to publicly speak out against any African Americans who are currently protesting the National Anthem, in efforts to fight for equality for Black people and fight against the countless murders of Black people by police officers. Here is one of Kimberly’s posts on that matter, as reported by Tariq Nasheed:

Many Now Conflicted Over Mom’s Views
After people saw Kimberly Jones’ true thoughts about racial equality and equal rights, they gave mixed reactions…

How Should African Americans React Now?
As y’all can see, now people are conflicted over this: Should the Black celebrities (and all other people of color) continue to stand behind the innocent child in this unfortunate ordeal? Or should they back off and allow his mother to fight against his bullies on her own, since she seems to think it’s wrong for African Americans to stand against the consistent injustices and systemic bullying they face on the daily within society?
