ILOSM family, your guess is as good as our’s, regarding the answer to the above question. Gladys’ son, Shanga Hankerson, has apparently taken a page out of his sister’s book, by deciding to law low, after the media firestorm his legal problems caused him.

Many of y’all may recall when Shanga was arrested for tax issues, and his restaurant employees outed his alleged frivolous spending habits and such. At the time, he was running Gladys Knight’s Chicken & Waffles restaurants in Georgia. Gladys ultimately chose to remove her name from her son’s business, so he wouldn’t run her brand into the ground. That led to tension and legal disputes between Gladys and Shanga, who ever since then, has seemingly faded into the background.

Hopefully they’ve been able to resolve their issues.
