Ms. Baker gave the cool “namaste” comment, but still didn’t quite address what her friend of 35 years, Cheryl, wants to know: Why did she block Cheryl Lynn on Twitter? In person, that’s similar to walking right past your friend on the street and not saying a word to them for no provoked reason at all.
So there it is folks: The lesson of today is that Twitter beef apparently is not limited to tweens, 20-something year olds, and rappers…this ‘social phenomenon’ applies to all. My outlook on this is that if you speak on a social platform, which is what both Anita Baker and Cheryl Lynn regularly do, expect to be spoken back to, that’s what social media is: socializing. You see, when we first started building our ILOSM community, we started off very small, and now it’s blossomed into a few million people. So it’s become a 24-hour around-the-clock thing and we LOVE that. That’s why we always make sure that we speak to our ILOSM family and you all always speak back and that, to me, is what social media is all about: socializing.
Anyways, we’ll let you know if Cheryl Lynn was ever able to get the answer to her question on this one.

You know we love this Anita classic too…
