Lauryn Hill and Nas just made two of their fans ‘happier than a camel on Wednesday’ at one of their recent concerts for the ‘Powernomics Tour 2017.’ Neither one of the MCs are considered to be very public people, but they are ‘people’s people’ behind the scenes. That was also evident when Hill and Nas helped make a couple’s engagement an event to remember.

On October 3rd, my boyfriend of 12 years and I went to go see Lauryn Hill and Nas in concert. My friend, who works for her, let us know after the show that we could attend the meet and greet. I was soooooo excited because the last time I met Lauryn, I was a crying mess and barely got any words out. I was getting the chance to redeem myself…. It was finally my turn to take a picture with Ms. Hill and Nas. As I put my arms around them to pose I heard the whole room erupt in “Awwwwwww!” I looked down, and the love of my life was asking me to marry him! Of course I said yes!
