The ongoing tension between former Basketball Wives star, Gloria Govan, and her ex-husband, retired NBA star Matt Barnes, has just hit yet another plateau…at least as far as Gloria is concerned. For the past few years, they’ve had conflict for several reasons, including Gloria’s current romantic union to Matt’s former teammate, to a plethora of back-n-forth accusations throughout their legal battle over custody of their twin sons, to the financial support Matt provides to Govan.
It’s the latter that Gloria is currently taking Matt back to court over, and it comes months after she lost big time in their custody and financial tug-of-war.
Why Gloria Just Filed New Legal Claim Against Matt
It’s now been reported by The Blast, that Gloria filed new legal docs the other day, claiming Matt is behind in child support by $42,250 and she wants her paper expeditiously:
[Gloria Govan] claims her former NBA star ex owes her $20,000 that was due last November and $7,500 that he did not pay last December. She claims she is owed an additional $14,750 because Barnes’ support payments from January through May of 2019 have been about half of the $7,500 per month he’s supposed to be paying.
