As you know, Beyoncé is no stranger to pulling raw emotion from your body. And apparently, her co-stars aren’t immune to her vocal magnificence.
According to People, Queen Bey’s role in Disney’s upcoming live-action The Lion King has brought co-star Billy Eichner to real tears.
The source states that Eichner spoke on the topic via Crooked Media’s Keep It podcast.
The show’s host, Ira Madison III, was wondering about Beyoncé’s role in the movie. Reportedly, she hadn’t exactly been seen in the production’s trailers.
NOTE: The Lion King‘s live-action movie will hit theaters July 19, by the way.
However, Eichner says that hearing Beyoncé’s voice is something amazing.
“She’s definitely in the movie because I’ve seen a rough cut,” the actor mentions. “And I’ve heard her sing ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight?’ with Donald Glover and I’m telling you, it’s f**king good.”
“And that was never my favorite song to be totally honest… I liked it when Elton John sang it. I love Elton John. I don’t want to give too much away about that, they do not want us talking about it. I will just say that honestly, it made me cry and I was not expecting that.”
