Birdman, aka Baby, sat down with former rapper Noreaga are and DJ EFN at Drink Champs, Happy Hour podcast interview. One-half of the Happy Hour host duo Noreaga sure knows how to make a guest feel special. He opened up the interview giving praises and listing Birdman’s accomplishment throughout the years.
Noreaga started by saying: “They wanted to interview legends, people who have been in the game 10 years or more that are making a mark, he is one of the most remarkable CEO’s, he has changed so many people from the hoods lives, made them millionaires, made them stars, right now got the three hottest people in the world still signed to him going through a couple of different decades…”
Birdman looked very pleased with that introduction, a stark difference from when he entered the radio station for that now infamous Breakfast Club interview back in 2016. Birdman speaks on controversial moments with artists and people in the industry.
Birdman spoke about his fallout with Lil Wayne:
“I always looked at him as a son, so how could I ever disrespect him? That wouldn’t be a man, that wouldn’t be a father. I could never disrespect someone I called my kid, my son. We talked a couple of times. That was important to me… I started with Wayne. I gave my all to my son and he gave his all to me. For me to continue doing this business I had to fix that with him.”
The situation with Tyga
“That’s a whole nother movie. That’s a whole nother situation. But I always did great by Tyga. I put millions in his pocket. I ain’t never violated that young man ever, to speak in my name in vain in any kind of way. I always stood solid with him.”
