So far what we’re dealing with is speculation of a possible wrongdoing on Nick Gordon’s part. Typically when we see highly publicized situations like this, there is usually some sort of motive behind the incidents and behaviors of the alleged abuser.
In the cases of women of power being abused by their spouses or mates, there can be financial motives, or what we refer to as, psychological power motives. If the woman is famous or wealthy and she is with a psychologically unstable man, who has extremely low self esteem, it may be really difficult for him to deal with living in his woman’s shadow. Then eventually as his woman’s fame and/or bank account grows, so does his resentment, jealousy, and insecurities. It’s very similar to the stories we’ve seen told in movies like the story of Ike and Tina’s What’s Love Got To Do With It.
So this upcoming case against Nick Gordon will definitely be something that we can all learn from, but unfortunately, we have to sit back and watch this case unfold, because of course this is all just alleged information up to this point, and Nick Gordon has NOT been convicted with ANY crime as of yet. There is just a murder case being prepped by the investigators in Bobbi Kristina’s case and he is simply listed as a ‘person of interest’ as of right now.
