When rapper Bow Wow was accused of allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie many people were left in awe. Here’s the same young brotha who burst onto the scene with hits like ‘Bounce With Me’ and coming of age films Johnson Family Vacation and Roll Bounce. But as much as fans hold a special place in their hearts for Bow he has been through some very serious situations in his adult life. And one of them revolves around a night he probably wishes he could forget. Yet conversely, it’s a night Leslie will never forget. And now she’s revealing more details that nobody saw coming.
Working Through Issues
Earlier this year we reported about Bow and Leslie’s tumultuous altercation, which lead to both being arrsted for battery. After his brief stint in jail Bow moved on from his violent relationship with Leslie. However aside from that during an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood he revealed he was dealing with other issues at the time.
Opening up about his battle with depression, he explained: “I was depressed. I was going through it. I wanted to tell people you can have the most money in the world and it doesn’t really heal you. I was going through a lot last year. Not even career-wise. I was going through a lot of things personally.”
Leslie has remained somewhat silent about the incident, but she’s now opening up about one moment that changed her life forever. And it still haunts her to this day.
