Charlamagne Tha God Says Wendy Williams’ Hostile Behavior In Documentary ‘Triggered’ Him

Wendy Williams and Charlamagne Tha God

Radio personality, and Wendy Williams’ former  protégé, Charlamagne Tha God, watched the recent Wendy Williams documentary, and it had a significant impact on him. Refuting claims that Wendy’s hostile behavior in the documentary was influenced by dementia, Charlamagne set the record straight. In his experience, her outspokenness had nothing to do with her current mental health condition.

“That documentary was very triggering for me as someone who worked with Wendy for three years,” Charlamagne shared. “I saw people saying dementia was causing her to talk to people like that. No, y’all shut the hell up. Y’all don’t know what y’all talking about. That had nothing to do with dementia.”

Charlamagne’s response sheds light on Wendy’s true nature. Despite her sometimes controversial remarks, he understands that it’s just “Wendy being Wendy.”

The Wendy Williams documentary offered a glimpse into the former radio/talk show host’s personal life and struggles. While some fans and viewers may have viewed her behavior as harsh or abrupt, Charlamagne’s insight helps contextualize her actions. As someone who worked closely with Wendy, he has a unique perspective on her personality.

Charlamagne emphasizes that her directness is not a result of any mental health issue, but rather a part of who she is. He even states, “I was looking at those moments and said, ‘There goes Wendy.'”

Charlamagne Tha God

Wendy Williams, known for her brutal honesty and straightforwardness, has always been a larger-than-life personality in the entertainment game.

Charlamagne’s recollection of his former boss is just another reminder that two things can be true about at once about an individual. In Wendy’s case it’s this: while it is extremely heartbreaking to see that queen endure the battles she’s currently facing with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, according to Charlamagne, the recently revealed angry outbursts and offensive behaviors she displayed in her new doc’ is also a not-so-pleasant part of the personality she’s had ever since he worked with her decades ago. That doesn’t necessarily make her a bad person, it simply makes her a difficult one to sometimes interact with– which also simply makes her a perfectly flawed human being, just like the rest of us.

At any rate, props to Charlamagne for giving us the real about his personal experiences with Wendy.
