Take one look at former “Family Matters” star, Jaleel White’s, social media pages and you’ll find it’s filled with photos of himself and his heart — his daughter, Samaya White. And while Jaleel has kept his love interest a secret, he’s definitely not hiding his daughter from the spotlight. There’s no mystery that he’s a devoted Pops who loves his adorably swagged-out princess…and though we’re sure Samaya can do no wrong in her pops’ eyes, on April Fools’ Day (April 1, 2022) all that nearly changed when she played a very believable joke on Jaleel…and she got him good.
Daughter Got Him Good
Samaya is a seventh grader whom Jaleel apparently set clear ground rules for, in order to ensure she doesn’t attempt to grow up too fast. For example, in a recent online post, Jaleel says he made it clear to his daughter that she is far too young for fake nails. Therefore, he was highly pissed when Samaya surprised him with a set of “video vixen acrylic nails,” as Jaleel refers to them.
Peep what happened next in Jaleel’s own own words:
Jaleel White – “So I decide to bring ice cream home as a surprise 🍨 I look down and see Ms. Seventh Grade has gotten herself a colorful array of video vixen acrylic nails 💅🏽 and we TALKED ABOUT THIS and how it was NOT allowed 🤬 I’m immediately HEATED but I stay chill. Why did you do this behind my back ? I just wanna know what made you do it? And how would you handle it if you were me and I was the daughter here? I’m super chill about it. No yelling at all.”
Jaleel says he realized somethin’ was up when he saw his daughter glance at his “gal” (whom we’re assuming is his girlfriend):

Thankfully, for Samaya, it was all in fun…because it sounds like Jaleel was this close to handing down a no-iphone-nor-internet punishment.
