R. Kelly is having a helluva year thus far. He’s been jailed twice, obliterated by his accusers in the Surviving R. Kelly documentary, damn near flipped out during his intense Gayle King interview, and now this.
As we previously reported, the “I Believe I Can Fly” crooner lost his sex abuse case against accuser, Heather Williams, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Ms. Williams won the case by a default judgement, after Kellz was ghost during Thursday’s hearing.
Fast forward to Friday, April 26th, and R. Kelly is now letting his fans know that his disappearing act in court was not intentional, but because he’s been hella confused and overwhelmed lately. Uh…let his attorney break this down to y’all below…
According to R. Kelly’s attorney, the timing of Heather Williams’ lawsuit couldn’t have been worse for Mr. Bump N’ Grind. Heather filed her lawsuit -claiming R. Kelly sexually abused her when she was just 16 years old- around the same time he was charged with 10 felony counts of sex abuse in an unrelated case.
