Diana Ross is very thankful to be back on the soil of her home state, Los Angeles, Ca. today. Why? Because a little over 24 hours ago, she was scared to death while vacationing with her children and grandchildren in Hawaii.
In case you’ve been sleep for the past day or so, Hawaii’s emergency management agency sent about 1.4 million people into a state of terror, after issuing the below missile threat warning for the state:
BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL”.
For a total of 13 minutes straight, it was the worst fear ever for many in Hawaii, because that’s how long it took for the emergency agency to inform people, via social media, that it was a false alarm.

‘The boss,’ Ms. Ross, was in Hawaii with her eldest son, Ross Naess, two of her daughters -Tracee Ellis Ross, Rhonda Ross- and some of her grandbabies. They were having a good ol’ time on the beach and were spotted by paparazzi, while doing so. Needless to say, that fun family vacay came to a screeching halt when the missile alert came thru.

It’s now just been reported that Diana and her family, along with everyone else at the hotel where they were staying, were immediately ushered underground, by hotel staff, where they remained for the duration of the warning. Not knowing if they were about to experience some type of mass destruction, we’re pretty sure it was the longest 13 minutes of their lives. During the nightmare, Rhonda Ross posted an update online, as they sat in the basement of the Hawaiian hotel:
