Diana Ross was involved in a car accident on Wednesday (April 13th) and she released a statement to her fans to update everyone on her status. After and SUV ran a stop sign and slammed into the Lincoln Town car that Ross, who was on her way to her concert, was riding in, Ross exited the vehicle and told paramedics that she had neck and head injuries.
The injuries were minor, other than a little pain that last hours later and a bump on her head that is still present, but other than that, Ms. Ross wants everyone to know she’s okay.
Here is the statement Diana Ross released via Twitter Thursday (4-14-16):
“I was involved in a car accident yesterday. I’m going to be a little sore, but it was mostly shocking. I have a very little tiny bump on my forehead at my hairline. I ask you not to worry. I will see you tonight at the show in Providence.” – Diana Ross
Ross is a true professional. The show she was in route to at Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA went on as scheduled and she graced the stage like only ‘the boss,’ Ms. Ross can.
The 22 year old New Jersey female driver of the SUV was given a traffic violation and the Lincoln town car Ross was being driven in was towed. We’re so grateful that this accident was nothing more than a few bumps and bruises. Ms. Ross still has a lot more years to share with us at 72 years young.
