Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey filed for divorce last year and have a set of young twins together. After Nick (whom Mariah is still married to because they have not yet settled on a financial agreement for their divorce) got wind of Mariah’s engagement ring and her announcement, it landed him in the hospital…SIKE! A couple days ago, Nick took Mariah’s engagement in stride when he posted a hilarious hospital pic of himself and Kevin Hart from the show, Real House Husbands of Hollywood, on his Instagram page:
But you know the social media world had to still dog Nick a lil’ bit after hearing that Mariah’s new engagement ring cost more than the one Nick bought her years ago. So many people have been flooding Nick’s page with ring emojis just to get under his skin. But what we’ve learned is that Nick and Mariah are as cool as a fan with each other and Mariah even called Nick a day before she announced her engagement publicly, just to give her still current husband the heads up about her upcoming marriage, out of respect for him.
Word on the old school curb is that James Packer has had a long history of getting his playboy on with many models and public figures. Hopefully things have since changed and from the looks of the way he and Mariah have been all lovey dovey on ski trips and beach resorts lately, the playboy billionaire just might be a tamed man now. Only time will tell and we wish them the best. Now let’s cue up that “Vision Of Love” song because it seems like Mariah’s finally found the one…
