As we all know, Linda Fairstein is now being dragged all over the internet for ignoring evidence that would have proven the Black teens’ innocence at the time of the crime, which ultimately resulted in the 5 men serving 6 to 15 years in prison. But her current arrogance about the case has only further pissed off many. However, there is one person who’s completely unbothered by Linda’s rant, Ava DuVernay.
Shortly after Linda’s desperate attempt to save face began to circulate online, the non-flustered reaction she received from Ava deserves a standing ovation in my opinion.
Ava re-posted a Twitter meme, which included a video clip from the 80’s drama series, Dynasty, alluding to her having receipts that prove Fairstein’s claims wrong. Ava’s caption was clear-cut and concise: “Expected and typical. Onward…”
