Word on the Old School curb is that there will be an upcoming Wiz Broadway play and that singer, Stephanie Mills will be playing “Aunt Em.” Okay let’s pause for a second and rejoice about that one. I’ve been waiting to see Stephanie in “The Wiz” again since forever. Now this is in no way a diss to Diana Ross, because I think she did a phenomenal job in the movie…it’s just great seeing Stephanie step onto the yellow brick road again too.
