Legendary producer Dr Dre was sure to praise his 18-year-old daughter online for her recent acceptance into USC. In the wake of the college bribery scandal, involving actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, he joked his daughter Truly Young made it into USC on her own. But Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, forgot to mention that he had donated $70million to the school six years ago.

From humble beginnings in Compton, California, Dr Dre’s talent and musical accomplishments have led him to become the third richest figure in hip hop, with a net worth of $770 million.

“My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!” Dre wrote alongside a photo of them posing with Truly’s acceptance letter.

Truly posted the same caption on her Instagram photo and also took to her Instagram story, saying: “All my hard work paid off. I’m going to film school.”
