Easter has long been known as a holiday that celebrates family and faith, so much to the point that many folks now refer to it as Resurrection Sunday. In the spirit of faith and family respected OG rapper Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris has been helping to build our community for years, and this Easter was no different when he teamed up with an Atlanta based church to help free a number of non-violent first-time offenders by raising over $100,000 to aid with their bail.
Tip Knows The Struggle Very Well
Tip is no stranger to being caught up in the legal system and he’s always been very vocal about his own issues with past criminal activity. However, because he’s actually lived that life and can speak to people about his experiences he’s been using his past to prevent others from traveling down the same road. And he’s always done so with humility and tact.
XXL reports that Tip’s efforts of helping our community have been ongoing in various capacities. Aside from his Alzheimer’s disease foundation For The Love Of Our Fathers he’s helped raise money through his Buy Back the Block organization to buy buildings in gentrified neighborhoods. He’s also been recognized by Georgia state senator Donzella James for all of his charitable efforts. However, the miracle he performed on Easter falls in line as one of the best things he’s ever done.
