Eddie Murphy is known for his many accomplishments throughout his life – an incredible comedian, a well-respected actor, a film producer, a great director, and even a good singer and musician, but one thing he’s not widely known for is for being the father of ten, yes TEN kids!

Most of us know of his two daughters with his ex-wife, Nicole Murphy- Bria and Shayne -because they’ve been making a name for themselves in their own right as models, but many of us never knew that Eddie has GROWN men for sons! Time sure does fly!

Just in case you have never seen the rest of the kids, we’ve spotlighted Eddie’s multiple seeds in this article, but first, check out how grown his sons are…

These three men are Eddie’s not-so-mini-me’s. The Murphy sons range in age from 2 years old to 32. Pictured above are Eddie’s sons, Miles Murphy; Christian Murphy; Christian’s mother, Tamara Hood; and Eric Murphy. Each of them have different mothers, but they are all really close to each other and their Father…that’s a beautiful thing.

Now, just to clear up exactly who all of Eddie’s ten children are, below we’ve listed the details about all of them:

Eddie Murphy’s and Nicole Murphy’s children:

• Bria L. Murphy- 33 (born November 1989)
•  Miles – 30 (born November 1992)
• Shayne Audra Murphy- 28 (born October 1994)
• Zola Ivy Murphy- 23 (born December 1999)
• Bella Zahra Murphy- 21 (born January 2002)

Eddie Murphy’s children from other relationships:

• • Eric- 33 (born July 1989) His mother- Paulette McNeely

• • Christian- 32  (born November 1990) His mother- Tamara Hood

• Angel Iris Murphy Brown- 15 (born April 2007) Her mother- Melanie Brown a.k.a. “Spice B” of the group, The Spice Girls
• Izzi Oona Murphy– 6 (born May 2016); Her mother- Paige Butcher
• Max Murphy – 4 (born November 2018), ; His mother – Paige Butcher

Whew! That was a lotta kids to keep up with, but did y’all get all of that? Okay good. We’ll keep you posted if Eddie decides to make any more. That Murphy football team is a beast! Do your thang Eddie!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE TO THEIR STORY…

Former Spice Girl, Melanie “Mel B.”Brown, gave birth to Murphy’s youngest daughter, Angel Iris, in 2007, and although things started off really rocky, with Eddie initially believing that he was NOT the father of Angel (until DNA tests proved otherwise), they are now in a great space and Eddie is very active in his daughter, Angel’s, life.

Word on the Old School curb is that it was actually his ex-wife, Nicole, who eventually convinced Eddie to reconsider making a gallant effort to be in Angel’s life and allow her siblings to be in her life as well. Eddie allegedly took Nicole’s advice and never looked back.

Eddie’s eldest son (with Paulette McNeely), Eric; and his daughter (with Nicole Murphy), Bria, are only four months apart and they were both born in 1989. Eddie was a busy man that year, but at least we can say that the brotha has been very instrumental in raising both of those kids and was there every step of the way with them, regardless of his multiple births in one year.

For the most part, everything seems to run smoothly with Eddie and his exes, with the exception of a few bumps in the road, that have long ago been resolved.

Like we mentioned earlier, Eddie’s daughters have modeling careers…and they’re not his only children to have a career in entertainment.
