In a recent interview, Tameka Foster, Usher’s ex-wife, shared her thoughts on the news of his surprise marriage to Jennifer Goicoechea. Tameka, who is known for her work as an Atlanta stylist, expressed her happiness for Usher while discussing her own exciting ventures.
In her convo’ with TMZ, Tameka revealed that she had a blast at the Super Bowl, just like her ex-husband did during his halftime show. Despite their past, Tameka spoke highly of Usher’s skills as a performer and praised him for being a great dad to their two sons.
As for Usher’s new marriage, social media users couldn’t help but bring Tameka’s name into the conversation. However, Tameka made it clear that she is not bothered by the speculations and is solely focused on her own journey. The past is the past, and she is looking forward to what the future holds.
In fact, when asked what she thought of Usher’s surprise Super Bowl day marriage, let Tameka tell it — she thought Usher and Jenn jumped the broom long ago, presumably because they were already so close for several years now, and share two young kids together. Here’s what Tameka said about their new marriage:
“I thought he’d been married. I don’t know, I don’t, I stopped keeping up with that that type of thing. That’s like his second, third [marriage]… I don’t know, I can’t I don’t know… I don’t even keep up with his personal. But he’s a good dad, that’s what I care about, and he’s a dope performer because did y’all see the halftime show?”
In case y’all missed it, Usher and his long-time girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoachea, got hitched on the low at
Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, hours before he performed the Super Bowl Halftime Show. So yeah, the brotha was hella busy that day.
