Okay ILoveOldSchoolMusic fam,’ if there is a hell, it has finally frozen over apparently, because after years of Teddy Riley and Aaron Hall calling each other female dogs (well they actually used the other term that means the same thing), they appeared on stage TOGETHER on Saturday night. On a side note, these cats look like they haven’t aged in 25 years!
Teddy had a big birthday celebration at Fox Theater in Atlanta, which also included Jodeci, who closed out the show with their killer performance and Big Bub’ of the 80’s group, Today. At one point in the show, Teddy was giving a heartfelt performance and in the middle of him and his fellow Backstreet members rockin’ the crowd, he announced he had a surprise for them. Lo and behold Aaron Hall came out dancing like it was 1988 and singing with those same powerful vocals he displayed back in the day and the crowd went wild! Teddy and Aaron made everybody there feel like they went back in time when folks were blastin’ “Groove Me” out of their souped up cars and in the clubs.
