After a rough 2016, plagued by her divorce filing, cheating rumors, and her Floyd Mayweather wind-it-up viral dance footage- 2017 is off to not just a ‘good’ start for Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, but a phenomenal start! Tiny’s proving that you can’t keep a boss chick like her down for long. And no, we’re not talking about the typical ‘boss chick’ that many Instagram ladies claim to be. We’re talking about Tiny, as in a REAL boss…literally!
First there was the recent news that she and her fellow Xscape members have reunited after 18 years of beef. And now the 4’11 singer has invested in 6+ footers, because she just announced that she is (drum roll please)…the FIRST female owner of professional a co-ed basketball team!
Yep you read that right. As of Thursday (3-2-2017), Tiny made it official when she put her ‘John Hancock’ on the paperwork and became the owner of the Atlanta Heirs (a name probably inspired by Tiny and T.I.’s baby girl, Heiress Harris)…

For years, T.I. was the bigger bread winner in the Harris fam,’ but now that their union is coming to an end, Tiny’s apparently doing what she can to make sure she doesn’t have to step down her, or her children’s lifestyle. So major power move it is! Go ‘head Tiny!
She also revealed that NBA player, Shannon Brown (singer, Monica’s husband) and WNBA player, Kym Hampton, helped her select the ballers for her new team…

We can’t glaze over the other shocker in this though- did y’all catch that the team will have BOTH males and females on it? That’s a pretty cool concept isn’t it?
Not sure which teams the Atlanta Heirs will be playing yet, but we’ll keep y’all posted on this one.
We’re very happy for Tiny and wish the Atlanta Heirs team much success!
