It’s almost as if Halle Berry doesn’t age at all, right? Well, Berry is letting everyone know her routine. As it turns out, pretty much, it’s in the way she eats — or rather, doesn’t eat.
51 YEARS YOUNG WITH AN AMAZING BODY
With the help of trainer, Peter Lee Thomas, Halle Berry continues looking younger with each year that passes. According to Women’s Health, the actress co-hosts #PHITTalks with her trainer, where they discuss their methods and regimens with fans. They elaborated on the fine art of “snacking” and the proper way to do it.

“I am a snacker and I need to have snacks, a little bit of food throughout the day,” Halle Berry tells her audience. Likewise, her snacking continues during her travels as well as while working. However, you should know she’s not out here livin’ her best life up n’ down the snack aisle every chance she gets. Specifically, she’s fond of protein bars:
“[They] really work well for me to keep my energy up throughout the day.”
BUT HERE’S WHAT KEEPS HER SLIM
While “snacking throughout the day” sounds all fine and good, apparently you have to show some type of willpower. According to Halle, she practices an eating curfew, as well as a fasting routine. The interview mentions that she and Thomas stop eating around 8 p.m. However, Berry doesn’t eat a meal again until 2 p.m. the following day:
“Not that I don’t get nutrients and vitamins and minerals [during that time]…I just don’t sit down and have a meal,” Berry clarifies.
When she’s not intermittent fasting, Halle employs a strict ketogenic diet.
FYI: HealthLine defines this particular eating process as follows:
“The ketogenic diet is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that shares many similarities with the Atkins and low-carb diets. It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis. When this happens, your body becomes incredibly efficient at burning fat for energy. It also turns fat into ketones in the liver, which can supply energy for the brain.”
Nevertheless, Halle ain’t really feelin’ of the word, “diet,” when it comes to her routine:
“I think the most important part of being healthy and in great shape largely depends on what and when you eat,” she mentions via Instagram.
She also states she’s been diabetic most of her life, being diagnosed at age 22. With that in mind, food isn’t a game to Berry.
“For years, I have been following the keto or ketogenic diet. I hate the word, ‘diet,’ so while you’ll see the word diet, just know I encourage you to think of it as a lifestyle change NOT A DIET!”
Well ILOSM fam, you can’t really argue with her results, right? There’s obvious proof in her method. Even her wine is ketogenic. It’s the holidays, so we all can probably use a few tips like this at this time. Shout out to Hale for sharing her’s.
