Bobbi Kristina Brown, the late daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, would have been 24-years-old yesterday (3-4-17). But, unfortunately, her life was cut short following a disturbing series of events that ended eerily similar manner to her mother’s death. After months in a medically induced coma, Bobbi Kristina died in hospice care on July 26, 2015.
In Her Honor:
For her 24th birthday, Bobby Brown has launched a website for domestic violence awareness in honor of his late daughter.
The website, BKSerenityHouse.com, offers information on Bobbi Kristina’s Serenity House, which is the singer’s non-profit organization launched to continue the fight against domestic violence. The organization aims to help those suffering from physical, emotional, and economical abuse.
“The essence of our organization is providing a state of peace as a common cause, to benefit everyone without neglecting any other. Education is the principal means to building a state of world peace. It will raise the profile of this issue, hence, mobilizing resources, organizations and public opinion. As in most situations where there is a dire need to “enhance” the vision, level of compassion, and thoughts of the masses, education is the key.”
Since there’s always been speculation Bobbi Kristina suffered domestic abuse at the hands of her estranged ex-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, Bobby is hoping he can help other females avoid the same fate his daughter suffered.
Remembering Bobbi Kristina:
Bobby Brown also took to social media with heartwarming posts and photos remembering his late daughter. Fans also offered condolences to the New Edition singer.
