By now, you’ve seen or heard of the scathing Michael Jackson documentary that’s riddled with inconsistencies through and through. Well, it was rumored that HBO was going to distance itself and stop supporting the film.
Several people have offered apologies for blindly supporting the accounts given by James Safechuck and Wade Robson. Even Oprah has gotten bashed for allowing them a platform to spread such inconsistent statements.
Now, according to TMZ, it may not be the case that HBO is letting it go. Matter of fact, officials with the company say it’s not leaving the lineup any time soon. Reportedly, they removed the some of the two-part documentary’s airings from its cable listings.
However, HBO told TMZ “that’s standard ops for its documentaries.”
