Meek Mills legal team filed documents to have Judge Brinkley removed from his  just 3 days after she denied him of a new trial. In legal documents lawyers were adamant about Brinkley already having her mind made up before Meeks trial had even concluded. Not only that, the only witness to the case was the arresting officer. Who happens to be the main suspect in a a massive Philadelphia police corruption scandal.

Brinkley in response to the officer clapped back saying “…because obviously we know that it’s going to go to another court after here”

Brian McMonagle, Meeks lawyer asked her if she was implying about already making her mind up and realized her decision would mean appealing to a higher court. She denied it.

Meeks other lawyer, Joe Tacopina labeled Brinkley’s ruling a “miscarriage of justice”.

It will be interesting to see how this will play out and how the next trial will go. If there is one.
