Word on the Old School curb is that “The Boss” Ms. Ross might be making some cameo appearances on the hit TV show, Empire, starring Taraji P. Henson and Terence Howard.

It’s being said that Ross has been in talks with the show’s co-creator Lee Daniels, about her gracing the show with her presence. Last week Global and Mail asked Ross about appearing on Empire and she said, “That would be wonderful.”

In June, Lee Daniels was asked who he would want to see on the show and he said, “Diana Ross. I’m obsessed with Diana Ross.”
According to PageSix, an Empire source told them this about season 2 and casting Ross:  “There have been informal talks with Diana.”

It sounds like Taraji is possibly one step closer to getting her (Cookie’s) dream parents after all.
So if all parties involved are loving the idea of having Diana bring phenomenal acting skills to the show, there should be no more hesitation. The fans want to see her too, so the Empire execs should just pay Ms. Ross what she wants, and get it on and poppin!’ Don’t you agree?

Empire’s season 2 kicks off on September 23…we’ll be watching and hopefully we’ll see “The Boss” one the screen.
