Kyle and Marikka’s interview left people with mixed reactions- some say that Kyle is taking steps in the right direction by owning up to his actions and some say once an abuser, always an abuser and that Marikka is out of her mind for getting back with him.
While we do NOT applaud Kyle for beating his wife- his Queen, whom he is supposed to protect and love unconditionally, we do applaud Kyle for willingly speaking out about the horrific thing he did to his wife. I think the only upside in this, is that it does take a real man to own up to his wrongs and although it sounds like Kyle has a lot more work to do on himself, he at least faced the music on national TV for all of the world to witness and ridicule.
Maybe one day, Marikka’s loved ones will be able to forgive him-but never forget…but I’m sure that will only come (if at all) after Kyle makes some real changes and proves himself. We wish him the best on his road to redemption and his recovery from alcoholism and domestic abuse and we hope, for Marikka’s sake, that the incident that happened will be the only one.
