Janet Jackson has never been one to publicize her personal life, but it looks like all of that is possibly about to change. According to The Sun, Janet is currently working on a 10-part documentary on Netflix. For the first time ever, fans just may get an inside look at Janet’s life. Although most fans would probably expect a documentary from Janet to capture behind-the-scenes action from a tour, this new documentary is said to be a bit different.
An Intimate Look:
It has been reported that the documentary will show a side of Janet that fans aren’t familiar with. Although the Velvet Rope singer decided to go on hiatus ten years ago, her life became even more private when she tied the knot with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana. Not sure why that is, but many of her fans believe it’s due to Wissam’s beliefs and being suspected of having converted to Islam, causing drastic life changes for the sake of her marriage. But now, Janet ‘Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty’ is making a comeback.
In addition to announcing her tour and ‘Rhythm Nation’ stomping her way back to the stage, an insider reportedly told The Sun that Janet feels she now owes it to her fans to offer a glimpse into her life: “Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago,” said the source.

What To Expect:
It was also reported that the alleged documentary will include many parts: “The show will run as a ten-part documentary and will feature recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Wissam and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Netflix are negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well.”
It is still unclear when the documentary will air on Netflix (if at all), but Janet’s State of The World Tour is expected to kick off September 7, 2017. Are y’all ready for Ms. Jackson?!!
