Janet Jackson’s Pissed Off Fans Finally Settle Lawsuit With Live Nation, But…

Many of us remember when Janet Jackson’s fans were hella pissed with her for constantly cancelling her ‘Unbreakable Tour’ last year. That was before her big reveal that she was ending the tour indefinitely to start a family with her estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana.

It was the ‘indefinitely’ detail that had fans’ ticket money caught up in an array of confusion. Although at that time, Janet stated that fans could get a refund for the tour if they didn’t want to ‘wait awhile,’ many fans claimed they were unable to get their money back from Live Nation and therefore commenced to filing a class action lawsuit for their refunds.

Up until now, it was unclear when, if ever, their lawsuit was gonna become a victory. Ironically though, Live Nation settled the lawsuit with Janet’s fans at the same time J.J. resumed her tour -under a new name, ‘The State of the World Tour’- on Thursday.

According to TMZ, Janet’s fans have now gotten their hard earned dollars back. However, there’s one slight situation that may have gotten overlooked:

Via TMZ: Based on what we know the fans got some money — we don’t know how much — but a chunk of that is going to go to pay their lawyers.

Yeah, those lawyers fees may turn out to be more of a hassle than a refund for Janet’s disgruntled fans, but at least they got their point across- that nobody is gonna stick ’em for their paper.
