If reality TV would have existed back in the day, Marvin Gaye and his then-wife, Janis Gaye would have garnered ratings that were through the roof. Their colorful escapades -and in this case, their sexscapades- make today’s reality shows look like Sesame Street in comparison.

Jan, is released a memoir in May 2015, titled After the Dance: My Life With Marvin Gaye and a lot of the details she’s revealing are mind blowing! One of the things Jan is talking about in this book is how she had an affair behind Marvin’s back with R&B singers…

I remember the day that he met chance it was on Soul Train something that meant it on he fell in love with him 17 years and all I was driving down the street called Melrose in Los Angeles in there you looked over Marvin Gaye was in his Rolls Royce with the love of his life and Marvin was doing what everyone else was doing in those days the way it was

  3. They both needed a psychiatric help. Marvin pretty much stole her youth. Frankie and Teddy…Ima shake my head on that.

    1. Habbibi I understand where you’re coming from and I agree, it does sound like some counseling wouldn’t have hurt their situation at all. I still have much respect for Marvin, Frankie and Teddy P. as artists though. Thanks for joining the convo.’
