Iconic actress, Jayne Kennedy, and her family are leaning on the uplifting energy of us all, as she continues to pray for her 25 year old daughter, Zaire.
Jayne Kennedy Gives Details On Daughter’s Condition
Zaire has been battling complications caused by a life-threatening brain aneurysm since March 20, 2021. She was rushed to the hospital and placed in ICU at that time, following an emergency surgery for the aneurysm. But it wasn’t until March 26th that Jayne took to social media to ask her online followers to pray for her daughter, while detailing Zaire’s medical emergency in a heart-wrenching post:
“Asking for continued prayers for my little sweetheart Zaire. I don’t know what to say… or how to say it. She underwent emergency surgery Sunday for an aneurysm and is still in the ICU for at least another week.💔💔💔💔💔
I love you Zaire with my whole heart….. Praying EVERY day! Thank you family and friends who have come forward to support my family during this time.

On March 31st, exactly ten days after her daughter’s surgery, Jayne gave a promising update on Zaire’s condition, but shared that she was still hospitalized in the ICU:
“Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes for our daughter, Zaire. Last week we had a big hurdle to overcome and she did it without needing a second surgery. They said the 3-10 day period post surgery would tell. Well today it’s day 10! 🥰
Not home yet and still in ICU but she’s better!!!
Prayer works‼️🙏🏽‼️” -Jayne
Finally, on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 Jayne announced that her baby was finally going home:
“Prayer Works‼️
My baby’s going home 💋
We have been blessed that she actually can go home! So many don’t…” – Jayne
Jayne further expressed gratitude for her daughter’s survival in a second update on April 7th:
“Eternally grateful Lord God that you brought my baby girl, Zaire back to me today. 17 days in ICU for a brain aneurysm was a lot. For all of you who shared your love and prayers with us, we can never even begin to thank you enough. She’s laughing, and it fills my heart to see her smile again. She still has a long road ahead of her but she’s a WINNER!” -Jayne

Zaire also posted an update on April 7th, expressing her gratitude for life and for everyone who prayed for her:
“ON MARCH 20TH, I SUFFERED A BRAIN ANEURYSM AND UNDERWENT EMERGENCY SURGERY.
I HAVE SPENT THE LAST 17 DAYS IN ICU. I’M BEYOND GRATEFUL TO HAVE ACTUALLY MADE IT TO THE ICU IN TIME. MANY DO NOT…
I’M BEYOND GRATEFUL TO STILL BE HERE. I RECEIVED THE BEST TREATMENT POSSIBLE AND CANNOT THANK EVERYONE ENOUGH FOR ALL THE LOVE, SUPPORT, ENDLESS PRAYERS, GIFTS AND SWEETS THAT HELPED MAKE THIS TIME A BIT MORE BEARABLE.” -Zaire
According to MyClevelandClinic.org, the chances of survival when suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm varies, depending on medical response time:
If an aneurysm does rupture, it leaks blood into the space surrounding your brain and sometimes into the brain tissue itself, causing a hemorrhagic stroke.
A ruptured brain aneurysm requires emergency medical treatment. As more time passes with a ruptured aneurysm, the likelihood of death or disability increases. About 75% of people with a ruptured brain aneurysm survive longer than 24 hours. A quarter of the survivors, though, may have life-ending complications within six months.
Call 911 or go to an emergency room if you think you are having symptoms of a brain aneurysm or ruptured aneurysm. The sooner you can get medical attention, the greater your chance of survival.
We’re not sure what caused Zaire’s brain aneurysm. Sending uplifting and loving energy her way, as she continues to recover at this time.
