The latest trial announcement also comes shortly after David issued a subpoena for Jennifer’s older sister, Julia, in the case. At the time of his mid-April 2019 subpoena, here’s what was reported:
[David Otunga is] demanding her sister Julia show up and be grilled under oath.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Otunga fired off a subpoena to Julia Hudson, requesting she sit for a deposition. The subpoena itself is sealed in the case, so it is unclear what he plans on questioning her about relating to the case.
In addition to throwing Julia up into the mix, David recently requested more sanctions be placed against Jennifer. Those records are sealed though, so it isn’t known what he’s trying to get the judge to enforce against J. Hud’ this go ’round.
The good news is that a trial will finally put an end to the constant back n’ forth that have at times reached ultimate petty levels between Jennifer and David:
- She once requested an emergency protective order against him.
- He then accused her of lying and filing for the protection order simply to defame his character. Then he filed doc’s of his own to forced her to prove her claims in court and risk being outed as a liar.
- She, in turn, called off her restraining order and we never heard about it again.
- He requested that the court order her to pay for a home that would allow him to continue to live the same lifestyle he lived when they were together.
- As a result, Jennifer filed a legal response, requesting that David’s financial request be denied, because she refuses to take care of a grown man, who can go out and find a job to take care of himself. Most fans agreed with her on that.
There have been several more public beefs between the two as well, but hopefully their son has not been too affected by his parents’ disagreements.
