John Witherspoon is in a serious situation after being accused of screwing over a friend. Unfortunately, the stress of it all has also caused his alleged victim to experience illness.

Actually, according to The Blast, he allegedly helped his wife screw over her supposed friend. The source says they supposedly took advantage of her friend by taking control of a film about the man’s life. This situation, Witherspoon wife’s friend claims, has caused him to suffer periods of depression and extreme weight loss.

The Blast reportedly obtained court documents indicating that Ronald Grant is suing John Witherspoon, 77, and his wife — Angela Robinson-Witherspoon — over a film called Curtsy, Mister.

Seriously, of all films to get John in trouble, this is the one? Curtsy, Mister?…

Whatever the case, the play was actually supposed to be the alleged victim’s personal memoir. The Blast states that it detailed “periods of sexual abuse and addiction.” Too, the film walked along his “rise from the housing projects of Manhattan to become the fashion editor of Essence Magazine.”
