He poured his heart out. “I know I’m not that damn old and I can whip any of these m’fer’s asses out here with that’s holding a mic in their hands.” After looking at the moderator and just demanding a response “Can we talk?” He said he was just being real. JG said he has had to do a lot to keep himself relevant. He said many of his fans would see him at airports and whatnots and ask when would he do another album. His response was why do a record? “They won’t play my shit,” he declared!
So just because he’s not 25 years old anymore, it’s hard to get any of his new stuff on the air. That’s a main reason we need to support artists who create good music for the soul . He was truthful in pointing out that “People out here still wanna hear great music.” Amen brother. We sure do. We humbly honor the old school soul music era and will keep pushing forward to keep it alive, so we support you JG! See the whole video here, it get interesting around the 3:10 mark…

1.) When an artist or artists comes out for the very first time in the spotlight and their music/songs are exceptionally very good, it is from that era and that generation of fans who are the biggest buyers of the artist or artists album’s and/or ticket concert sales which in turn makes that artist or artists a big sensational star or stars during that era. 2.) But unfortunately nothing ever last forever, there is a point & time when an artist or artists reaches his, her or their peak fame, popularity and stardom then their fame, popularity and/or stardom dwindle down as times moves forward, old generation move on and new generations look or seek upon new artist or artists with new songs/music. 3.) When old artist or artists come out with new materials of songs/music (Album’s), it is most likely the new generations of the new era that are not the biggest fans nor buyers of the old artist or artists old and/or new songs/music (Album’s). 4.) While at the same time, the old generations or old fans have moved on and found other interesting new artist or artists with new songs/music (Album’s) that often gets the new or newer artist or artists a fan-base or attention over the older artist or artists in the music industry. 5.) But perhaps at the same time the old generations or old fans are probably still fans of the old or older artist, old songs/music but not necessarily that old or older artist new materials of songs/music (Album’s) unlike back in those old days & era!
