JoJo Smollett says FBI “refuted” Chicago Police Chief Eddie Johnson’s claim about Jussie sending hate mail to himself:

“The chief also stated as fact that Jussie had sent himself the threatening letter that arrived at the Empire production offices weeks before the attack. The FBI then refuted this claim. Again, the chief did not correct his accusations. Letting it float for the public to either believe or not.”

**FYI*** What the FBI really said:
“I think he [Police Chief Eddie Johnson] went too far. We’re not there yet,” said an unnamed FBI official. Meaning, the FBI’s investigation into Jussie’s hate mail is still ongoing, and his possible involvement has not yet been proven, nor ruled out by the FBI.

JoJo slammed the public for joining social media “bandwagon”:

“I started to notice an online ‘bandwagon’ approaching ignoring whether there were any real facts to suggest his guilt. In an effort to fit in with the momentum on social media, many appeared to roast him, demean him, and laugh at a traumatic and painful ordeal.”

Brother says Jussie has “night terrors” from attack:

“I have literally seen him violently awakening from night terrors, following the assault. Some of my siblings, as well as Jussie’s partner and closest friends have seen similar things.”

Jussie’s reluctance to call cops is further proof of his innocence, says brother:

“Jussie didn’t even want to contact the police, following his assault. He was weary and didn’t care for the unnecessary attention it might garner. His choreographer insisted, and the choreographer contacted the police himself. It should be noted: if he staged the attack for publicity to boost his career, as alleged, why would he not want to make the incident public?”

JoJo Smollett never mentioned Cook County State Attorney, Kim Foxx, nor her public statement which alluded that Jussie is “accountable” for staging the attack.

Listen, in my opinion Jussie Smollett seems hella guilty. If he is guilty of the attack hoax, should he publicly own up to it and also pay the city a hefty fine? Absolutely. HOWEVER, should Jussie have served prison time for making a dumb decision, such as this one? Nah…not at all. I think Chicago needs to reserve that prison cell for the cops who unjustly murder it’s unarmed Black and Brown citizens…just sayin.’
